  • Trained participants from Nyinawimana Parish (Byumba) practiced acquired capacitar skills among 120 widows and one men.
  • Widows 56 (Genocide survivors) from Kamonyi District organized themselves into groups and started using Capacitar approach to overcome stress & trauma.
  • 25 young heads of households including 18 girls and 7 boys from Save & Musha sectors started practing capacitar skills.
  • In Save (Gisagara district) Twiyubake coopĂ©rative was created. It includes 120 among them 103 women and 17 men.
  • More of 150 students Gisagara training centers including 87 girls and 63 boys have benefited from project activities
  • 35 Students in the school Regina Pacis Tumba including 22 girls and 13 boys have benefited from project activities
  • 60 Students from the National University of Rwanda, Social Work Department including 42 men and 18 girls were supervised and supported in using the tools of Capacitar.
  • 15 Mothers and aunts of the SOS Village Gikongoro children have benefited from Capacitar training.
  • 360 members of Twiteze Imbere coopĂ©rative (Nyamagabe district) were supported in their initiative of promoting the healing process among themselves
  • At Cyahafi in Kigali, a group of 50 HVI+ (30 women & 20 men) called ABAHUJE was created. They used capacitar approach to overcome stress.
  • Trained participants intervened in helping people facing emotional crisis at 5 sites during the period of national mourning.

  • 1 from AEE (African Evangelic Enterprise)
  • 2 HIV+ from Institut Saint Boniface
  • 8 lecturers at KHI (5 women and 8 men), from the mental health department participated in a Taste Day.
  • 12 Teachers from high school Rosa Mystica in Kamonyi attended the taste day of Capacitar
  • 36 members of AERG at St Kizito participated in Taste Day.
  • 220 people at IPB attended the Taste Day in Byumba
  • 60 participants (39 boys and 21 girls) attended the Taste Day at Mbazi, Huye district
  • Taste day & Training of ARCT-Ruhuka staff.
  • The training lasted for one year
  • It covered 3 modules
  • 24 participants participated in the Taste Day & training
  • 96 APS from Gisagara, Huye and Nyaruguru districts participated in the training on capacitar.
  • 25 participants attended the capacity building Training on Capacitar which was held at Gihindamuyaga.
  • Group 1: 33 HIV+ from Byumba attended the training on capacitar
  • Group 2: 30 APS AVEGA (10 men and 20 women) from northern province attended the capacitar training in Gicumbi.
  • Group 3: A Group of 28 (12 men and 16 women) of schooling youth from from Universities and secondary school was held in Gicumbi
  • Group 4: 50 pastoral workers from 17 parishes from the Diocese of Byumba attended the training
  • 32 agents in HUYE, 31 agents in Gisagara and 32 agents in Nyaruguru attended the training.

  • 15 employees and partners from African Institute of General Psychology (IAPI) Healing Centre Kimirinko injury in Kimironko, Kigali.
  • in Gihindamuyaga: Training of 20 participants from:

  • In Ruhashya, (20 people including orphans, Genocide survivors, widows,) participated in the training.
  • In Kacyiru,10 Rhenani Palatina employees from Rhenani Palatina participated in the training
  • 20 young heads of households, including 9 boys and 11 girls from Avega North attended the training in Gicumbi
  • At Sahera, two groups were trained:
  • An integrated group of 20 PVV
  • A group 16 women at Rugango. These are women living with HIV / AIDS with others who are not infected but who are committed to support their neighbors.
  • 167 single mothers have received training at Rugango
  • 88 single mothers at Ruhashya (on child rights and its psychological development)
  • 135 community health workers sector of Huye(technical Capacitar)
  • Training of 125 people in five groups including:
  • 4 community health workers)
  • Rukira, Nyakagezi, Sovu Muyogoro cells (2 groups of 25 each)
  • Training of 90 women divided into three groups that are dealing with domestic violence
  • Training of 204 widows and orphans from Mbazi
  • Training of integrated groups in Huye (HIV+ other people who are not infected by HIV to facilitate integration)
  • Training of 90 children and 31 heads of households were trained at Sahera in Huye
  • Training of 100 single mothers through our facilitator of social center Caritas Huye.
  • Training in Huye of 36 HIV+ at Sahera
  • Training in of 32 participants in Rango
  • Training of 102 single mothers of Rugango, aged between 14 and 40 years.
  • Training of group of 54 genocide survivors and former prisoners
  • 12 IAPI agents from Mbazi health center, Sovu, Caritas staff and social service & psychologists in Huye district have had the training Capacitar.

 

  • Training of 31 people, including 20 teachers and health educators who protect peoples against domestic violence.
  • Handling cases of emotional crisis to 45 people during training sessions.
  • A group of multipliers (leaders) helped more than 87 victims of trauma during the national mourning period in April 2014 in the communities.
