skills with Capacitar body-mind-spirit practices.

Care for caregivers: cancer, HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDS is challenging the human family to look at how well we live and die, as well as how well we care for each other. Are we able to learn to live fully each part of the cycle of life, including death?

Or because of the stigma and misconceptions around AIDS, as well as the lack of access to medication and medical care for many, do we live in denial and depression as victims of the pandemic?

As scientists struggle to work for a “cure” and to make medications available to alleviate the effects of AIDS, it is important to consider what it means to live in wellness.

Capacitar for children, teachers & families

A program in Multicultural Wellness Education for children,

schools and families that teaches simple practices for students, teachers, parents, administrators and staff for use in the classroom,

the schoolyard and the home.

specifically designed for sponsoring organizations, centers, community groups, staffs and faculties. Presentations can be part of meetings, conferences and social functions for women’s organization, churches, health professionals, veteran’s groups and civic events.
